Biography

Mercedes Wong – Executive Vice President

Mercedes is a dynamic leader with an unparalleled understanding of real estate development. Her tireless work with non-profit organizations has given her a deep understanding of the benefit to social programs that support the homeless and lower-income earners on their journey to homeownership.

She is an acknowledged industry expert in the marketing, selling, and leasing of multi-million dollar projects of all types. Her successful career has spanned over 30 years in the Philippines, Europe, the US, and Western Canada. Highlights include instituting a guaranteed return program for investors using residential mortgage rates for commercial property.

She joined Eco Realty as Executive Vice President in 2011. In addition to helping her commercial and residential clients, she will be working closely with the Eco Realty team to develop innovative new marketing products for the Canadian real estate industry.

She has held numerous board positions throughout her career and currently serves as Director of Real Estate Institute of Canada Greater Vancouver Chapter, Director of the Aboriginal Mother Centre Society, Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Vancouver Fraserview, and Vice President of the Strata Council for the Yaletown Galleria.

She is also Creator and Executive Producer for Real Estate 101tv, a reality television series currently broadcast on the KVOS network in the US and Canada.
